Variations of Blackjack

The casino game of BLackjack is probably one of the most popular to date, which makes it no surprise that there are so many enticing and fun variations of the game.  In fact, due to the success of current variations, more and more casinos are deciding to come up with their own versions of the casino games.

European Blackjack consists of the players receiving a hand from a total of two decks of cards with the main dealer standing on a soft 17.  Doubles are allowed on 9 to 11 only and there is no re-splitting or surrender.  The no hole card player is the player that is to lose the total amount bet against the dealer Blackjack.  Players are to play this particular version of Blackjack with a one-bet position.  The insurance is also not to be resolved until the end of the hand.

The version of Single Deck Blackjack allows for one deck of cards and again the dealer hits on a soft 17.  The participants are also able to have the chance of doubling on any of his or her first two cards and this is allowed after the splitting occurs.  The split however is only allowed to happen once and the dealer is the only person allowed to check for Black jack.  Again this version offers only the one bet position!
